What information we collect
We collect only what is needed to answer you and to keep the website working.
- Information you send us. When you use the quotation request form or the contact form, we receive the details you type in: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, chassis type, the product or service you are interested in, size or model, intended use, timeline, your message, and any photos you attach.
- Information you share when you call, email or message us. If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we keep the details you give us so we can reply.
- Website usage information, only if you accept cookies. If you choose Accept on our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. This information is collected in a way that does not identify you personally by name.
- Technical records. Our web server keeps standard logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working.
- A short spam check. When you send a form, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to an hour, only to stop a single visitor sending large numbers of messages. It cannot be turned back into your address.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes.
- To arrange, carry out and follow up work you ask us to do.
- To understand how the website is used, and improve it (only if you accepted analytics cookies).
- To protect the website from misuse and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and your choice
The website asks for your choice about analytics cookies. Choosing Decline is as easy as choosing Accept, and the website works the same either way. We remember your choice in your own browser, so we do not ask again on every page. You can change it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, after which the notice appears again.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else sees your information
We share information only with the services that help us run the website and reply to you:
- Our email and hosting providers, who store and deliver the messages you send through our forms.
- Google Analytics, but only if you accepted analytics cookies.
- Google Maps, which appears on the Contact Us and Service Areas pages. When the map loads, Google receives technical information such as your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there. Your messages are then handled under WhatsApp's own terms.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to answer you, carry out any work, and keep normal business and legal records. When we no longer need them, we delete them or make them anonymous.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure connections to this website and limiting who can read enquiries. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send anything sensitive, such as bank details, through our forms.
Your rights
Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, you may have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent, and to ask us to delete it. Children
This website is written for businesses and vehicle owners. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
